As we were registered in Taiwan, the listed price and settlement for the product is in TWD, although you had select the currency with USD, it is shown with estimated price in USD converted from TWD for reference. To provide the actual price in USD, the exchange rate at the time of purchase will be used by your payment provider (such as your credit card or PayPal). As exchange rates fluctuate, the exact USD amount may vary slightly. However, please check with your payment provider for the most accurate and up-to-date conversion at the time of your purchase.

Instructions

Download the FortVax app and place the card near your phone. Select Create New Wallet and set a password and Mnemonic Phrase.
Simply tap your card to select and confirm the currency you want to manage and log in to the wallet main screen.

If you want to reset your wallet, please first confirm that your "Mnemonic Phrase" and "Card PIN" are saved properly, as they will be needed when restoring your wallet after the reset is complete.
After resetting the wallet, the "Local Data" will be cleared. The NFT in the original APP will also be cleared. To restore the NFT, please first find the NFT in your own Ethereum address and manually import it into the FortVax APP.

A. How to send cryptocurrency?

Tap to enter the type of cryptocurrency you want to send.
Click the "Send" button.
Select to enter the receiving address manually or choose from stored frequently used addresses.
Scan the QR Code or manually enter the receiving address and quantity.
After confirming the sending details, click "Send".
Enter your wallet password.
Hold your FortVax card close to your phone.
After sensing, wait for the sending to be completed.

B. How to receive cryptocurrency?

Click to enter the type of cryptocurrency you would like to receive.
Click the "Receive" button.
The wallet address and QR code of the cryptocurrency you selected will appear on the screen. You can use the "Copy" or "Share" function to allow others to send assets to your wallet address.

A. How can I view the current total asset value of my digital assets?

Pull down from the main wallet screen to update your balance instantly.

B. How do I add or remove digital asset currencies to be managed?

Click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the FortVax app home screen to turn on or off the currency you want to manage.

C. How can I view transaction details?

Click on the currency you want to query on the wallet main screen to view transaction details.

Open the FortVax app, click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the FortVax app home screen, and select Add Custom Token.
Select a network and enter or scan the contract address and click Save. (Currently only Ethereum chains are available.)

Please go to https://etherscan.io and enter your wallet address to search.
Switch to "ERC721" and click "Token" on the right to enter the screen.
Click on the wallet address in "Contract" in "Profile Summary" in the upper right corner.
"Click to View QR Code" will be displayed next to the Contract title. Click it to view your contract address and QR Code.
After opening Ethereum, click on Collectibles in the upper right corner and click on Add Collectibles below.
Enter or scan your contract address and token ID, then click Add to store your NFT in the FortVax app. (Currently only Ethereum ERC721 contracts are available.)

Security Question

FortVax's security element specifications comply with EAL6+ and FIPS 140-2 LEVEL3.

The screen password only protects your privacy and prevents others from snooping and accessing your card. The card password is used to unlock your card when conducting transactions or restoring your wallet.

Reinstall the app, scan the card, and depending on the card status, you can restore your wallet or only use the password to access the card.

You can click "Forgot Password" to reset 8-16 characters and restore your card using the Mnemonic Phrase.

The Mnemonic Phrase is your private key. Please copy it down and keep it properly to avoid leaking or losing it.

Please ensure that your card password and Mnemonic Phrase are not leaked. After purchasing a new card, you can use the recovery wallet to retrieve your crypto assets.

FortVax provides a one-year warranty. If the card is damaged due to non-human factors during the warranty period, a new card will be provided free of charge after it is returned to FortVax for identification.

FortVax adheres to Mnemonic Phrase generation standards, allowing you to restore your wallet. However, the method for generating private keys may vary between vendors or service providers. If you are a new FortVax user, it is recommended that you first create a wallet using the Create Wallet feature.

General Questions

Supports ETH, BTC, TRX, POL, BSC, LTC, DOGE, USDT (ERC 20), TRC 20 tokens (customizable), ERC 20 tokens (customizable), and NFT tokens (ERC 721).

Android 10 and above, iOS 14 and above, must support NFC sensing function.

There are many brands of Android phones. The sensor is generally located in the middle of the back of the phone. If your sensor location is often abnormal or insensitive, please read your phone's manual carefully to understand the location of your phone's sensor.
The sensor on iOS phones is located on the back of the phone, and try to align the sensor with the center of the card.

If your phone does not support NFC, you cannot use the FortVax cold wallet.

The chip card has basic water-proof function, and even if it gets wet, the chip reading function will not be affected.

You can have more than two cards. To switch between them, go to Settings > Reset Wallet > Re-sensing Cards > Depending on the card status, you can restore your wallet or only use your password to access the card.

If you want to purchase cryptocurrency, you can do so through a cryptocurrency exchange and transfer it to your FortVax cold wallet. Once the transfer is successful, you will see the balance in your cold wallet.

Your FortVax cold wallet is completely isolated from the internet, but when you send or receive transactions, you still need to connect to the internet to synchronize blockchain ledger information.

Cryptocurrency related

A. Click TRON and a message will appear saying "Your account has not been activated yet."

New addresses on the TRON blockchain are not enabled by default. Please transfer 0.1 TRX to enable your address.

FortVax defaults to the Nested SegWit format for Bitcoin addresses and also supports receiving Bitcoin wallet addresses in the Legacy format.

Bitcoin, Litecoin, Doge, and other blockchains use the UTXO ledger model. Transactions with zero confirmations can be replaced before they are included in any block. This is a normal mechanism designed to expedite transactions and ensure they are confirmed in the first block more quickly. However, it can be exploited by malicious actors to commit fraud. To provide a better user experience and prevent fraud, we distinguish between real-time balance and available balance.
Real-time balance: It is the sum of all your unconfirmed and confirmed transactions.
Available balance: refers to transactions that have been packaged once by the blockchain and confirmed more than six times.
If you have transactions with others, please confirm whether your available balance has changed. Do not use the real-time balance to confirm your transactions with others.
